Stormont to host England game

PROPOSED VENUE ANNOUNCED
At a meeting of the Irish Cricket Union’s Executive Committee this afternoon it was agreed that the Stormont Ground, Belfast be put forward as the venue for the Ireland v England One Day International on Tuesday 13th June 2006.
This decision is subject to agreement from the International Cricket Council, that the venue is suitable for a full One Day International and a site visit will be arranged shortly.
Details on the match will be released once this decision has been received.
