A season of mixed fortunes for Coleraine who won the Eric Cooke Cup, came within a ball of lifting the Sammy Jeffrey Shield, but had to settle for mid-table in the Premiership.
Their batting was topped by Marcus Poskitt who played some of the best innings I witnessed last summer on his way to 803 runs at 40.15, scoring their only two senior centuries as well as three fifties.
Ravi Karunaratne made 692 at 31.45 (4 fifties), while Matthew Smyth 616 at 30.80 made two half centuries.
Scott Campbell had four fifties in his 509 at 36.36, while there was a gap them to Matthew Hutchinson (277 at 13.19) and Rory Knox (241 at 20.08).
The bowling unit had a good campaign, with skipper Matthew Hutchinson leading the way with 36 wickets at 17.58.
His brother Stephen managed 29 wickets at 21.45, while Sri Lankan pro Karunaratne also took 29 at 23.86.
Gareth Burns was the fourth to take more than 20 wickets - claiming 28 at 26.58. Scott Campbell (16) and James Bell (13) were the others to reach double figures.
The Bannsiders are usually active in the transfer market and if they can secure one or two additional quality players then they will no doubt be there or thereabouts when the trophies are given out.
