Stephen Doheny will captain an exciting Ireland Emerging squad to Antigua next month where they will play West Indies Under 23s in three 50-over games and two four-day games.

Doheny, who has played nine ODIs, the last against Bangladesh in May, is the most experienced of the four capped players in the squad.

He joined by Lisburn slow bowler Matthew Humphreys and Murray Commins (2 ODIs each) and Fionn Hand who has made 11 senior appearances but has yet to win an ODI cap.

The other Ulster players on the trip include Tom Mayes, who part of the Ireland squads last winter, and Matthew Foster, who missed out because of injury, plus Cade Carmichael, Morgan Topping and Scott Macbeth.

Mike Frost, Gavin Hoey, Liam McCarthy, Adam Rosslee and Tim Tector complete the 14-man squad.
