Charlie Simpson has joined Fox Lodge from Newbuildings.

The teenager is a wicket-keeper batsman who is highly rated and has featured for the North West at junior representative level.

"We are delighted with the addition of young Charlie to the club," said club captain Aaron Heywood.

"He is a talented young lad with a lot of potential, ready to take the next step in his cricket career.

"He has received a warm welcome from the lads and he is keen to get going and get stuck in.

"An addition of another young and hungry player to the squad and this is the type of players we want to have in and around the club.

"I have no doubt Charlie will enjoy his time on and off the pitch at Fox Lodge."
