Bready took a step closer to the Women's Premiership title with a 40 run win (DLS) over rivals Fox Lodge last night.

Cody Wallace and Charley Scott both made 35 as Bready scored 140 for 6 - two wickets apiece for Mollie Devine, Elle Moore, and Tanisha Hussain.

Rain reduced the home side's target to 126 in 17 overs, but they could only reach 85 for 6 despite 32 from Mollie Devine - two wickets apiece for Jody Spence and Vanessa Buchanan.

Coleraine's title hopes took a dent as they and Eglinton tied in a thriller.

Lucy Carmichael hit a half century in an opening stand of 84 with Arianna McKenna - who scored 40 - as Eglinton made 135 for 4. 

The Bannsiders looked out of it as they were reduced to 82 for 8 in the reply, but fought back to salvage a share of the spoils.

Jessica Meates hit 6 fours in a quickfire 33 but fell with seven needed. The last pair managed 6 of them before Tasha Simmons struck to ensure honourss were even.

The other wicket takers were Alice McLaughlin who claimed three, while there were two apiece for Rosie McHugh, Jenni Jackson and Lucy Carmichael.
