CricketEurope takes a look at the four leagues below the Premiership. On week one Sam McClintock of Newbuildngs was the first centurion of the North West season, while Raweel Waseem of North Fermanagh claimed a five-wicket haul.

We start in League One, where Jamie Mutch took three wickets and Mark Olphert top-scored with 39 as Bready beat Donemana by 7 wickets chasing 118.

Gareth Martin's 62 helped The Nedd chase 224 to beat Letterkenny by three wickets - Bablu Shaikh making 56 for the Donegal side.

An unbeaten 50 by Ciaran Curley saw Ardmore to a 36-run (DLS) win at home to Fox Lodge. He shared a third wicket stand of 71 with Bobby Brolly (32*), who also took three wickets.

TJ Boyd and Glenn McCallan took three wickets apiece to bowl Eglinton out for just 62 - four catches for home captain Andrew Lucas. Rian McKelvey's udefeated 36 (6 fours, 1 six) saw Sion romp to a nine-wicket win.

In League Two, Charlie Simpson's 53 saw Newbuildings post 182, which proved 87 too many for Maghera - Lewis Campbell (4-6), Graeme Sweeney (3-13), and Pushpender Singh (2-14) the main wicket takers.

There was a real tussle at Beechgrove as Brigade egded out Glendermott by 17 runs in a high scoring game. Half centuries from Ewan Wilson (53*) and Aaron Kitson (50), plus 39 from Chris Dixon helped Brigade make 219/9 - two wickets apiece for JJ O'Brien and Garth Watson. The latter top-scored with 42 as the Rectory side made 202 for 8, with Wilson (3-39), Cameron Nawn (2-39), and Mujeeb (2-21) the main bowlers.

A special word of recognition to Dougie Huey - taking to the field for another season at 72 years young.

Killyclooney beat St Johnston by four wickets with Aaron Parke making 43 as they chased 130 - three wickets for Richard McMorris and Jay Parkhill.

Rawal Waseem stole the show as North Fermanagh beat Ballyspallen. He took 5 for 36 and David Mills 3-38 as the Kesh side dismissed 'Spallen for 121 - Clive Rodgers making 25. The bowlers then turned their hand to batting with Waseem's 34 and Mills' 27 leading them to a five-wicket win.

Ricky Barr's 71 was the decisive contribution in League Three as Bonds Glen chased down Bready's 162 for 8. 

Dylan Holmes (41) and Jason Scott (35) helped Drummond to an 8-wicket win at Strabane - Kusphal Singh's 31 the best of the Red Caps 112.

Mark Roulston (3-31) and Ross McCay (36) steered Burndennett to a four-wicket win at nearby Strabane Academy against Letterkenny.

Sam McClintock was the top score in the country with his 132 from 86 balls (15 fours, 7 sixes) helping Newbuildings make 242 at home to Enniskillen. That proved way too many for the visitors who were dismissed for 113 - Lewis Pearson (3-8) the pick of the ten bowlers used.

Mansi Bhavsar (3-13) and Millie Spence showed girl power taking a combined five wickets as Donemana made 166 for 9 - Isaac Black hitting 31. Suyash (53*) ensured a win for the Magheramason side, with runs too for Aaron Cooke (39*) and Ben Campbell (32).

Maghera's Steven Pratt's 52 not out plus 34 from Colin Marshall enabled the Mid-Ulster side to beat Killyclooney by four wickets as they chased down 147. Raymond Bresland (36) and Keith Buchanan (35) the main contributors for Killyclooney.
