Ireland U19's beat the UAE by two wickets to get their World Cup preparations off to a low-key, but winning start at Tuks Oval.
Zara Craig (2-10) picked up two wickets as the Emiratis were restricted to 104 for 7, with a scalp each for Ellie McGee, Kia McCartney and Niamh MacNulty.

Keeper Jane Loughran had three dismissals behind the stumps, while there were also two run outs - one for McCartney and the other by Rebecca Gough.
One area of concern for coach Glenn Querl was the concession of 22 bowling extras in such a modest total, and clearly soemthing to work on ahead of the tournament proper.
Skipper Amy Hunter top-scored with 33 (2 sixes, 2 fours), while the only other boundaries in the innings were hit by Waringstown's Abbi Harrison who hit three fours in her 26.

Ireland limped over the line to win by two wickets with eight balls to spare, as they got tthe rustiness out of their system.
The Irish are back in action on Friday when they take on Zimbabwe.
