Rush have confirmed that all-rounder Nathan McGuire is returning to the club for the entirety of the 2023 season.
 
The Ireland Under 19 international played most of the 2022 campaign for Glendermott in the North West, but has opted to return to his boyhood side.
 
The Kenure side have also retained the servives of overseas professional Llew Johnson, while Lynal Jansen is also back as Director of Cricket.
 
"Rush CC have been busy putting plans in place and setting the foundations for 2023," said a club spokesperson.
 
"We can confirm the return of Director of Cricket Lynal Jansen to spearhead the clubs multi-year plan and ensure goals are set and met. Lynal is a club favourite and is a quality coach and mentor with a proven record. 
 
"On the player front we can also announce that Llew Johnson has agreed to return to Kenure for 2023 season after a successful 2022 season personally. He his keen to get back and work closely with the team and make a big impact next season. 
 
"We can also confirm that Nathan McGuire will return for the full season also after a winter in Melbourne. The club really excited to have both big hitters play together after a brief end of season cameo. 
 
"The club look forward to next season and with the solid experienced players like Neil Rock, Jarred Barnes, Asher Abbasi and a production line of youth players. we hope to bring it all together in 2023."
