Ireland Women played 25 games during 2022, winning 11 and losing 14. The highlights were away series wins over Pakistan, Scotland and The Netherlands, a T20I win at home against South Africa, as well as the crucial T20 World Cup qualifier semi-final against Zimbabwe.
Gaby Lewis was the star batter, hitting six of the 11 half centuries they managed through the season on her way to 696 runs at 30.26.
Orla Prendergast was next , having the best average of 32.92, and the second best strike-rate of 111.17, as she made 428 runs (2 fifties).
Skipper Laura Delany was one of two centurions - along with Leah Paul and the pair made 386 at 27.57 and 331 at 23.64, with Amy Hunter 380 at 27.14 sandwiched inbetween.
Arlene Kelly was the standout bowler, with her tally of 28 wickets at just over 20 well clear of anyone else.
Laura Delany was second, capturing 19 wickets at 23, while Cara Murray was the only bowler to take five wickets in an innings, seeing her to 17 wickets, albeit at a cost of almost 40 apiece.
Jane Maguire (12 wkts), Eimear Richardson (11) and Rachael Delaney (10) were the others to reach double figures.
