David Delany starred again as Clontarf hammered Balbriggan, while there were victories too for Merrion, YMCA and Cork County.

Delany top scored with 58 as Clontarf posted 186 for 8, and then tope the Balbriggan top order to shreds, claiming four wickets as they were bundled out for 49 - two wickets each for Mick Granger, Ruan Cronje and Fionn Hand.

Rory Anders' five-wicket haul helped YM beat Leinster, for whom Gareth Delany top-scored with 66 in their 180 all out.

Jack Tector (53) shared stands of 67 with Mitchell Thompson (32) and 71 with Harry Tector (42) in a straightforward six wickets win.

Cork County edged out North Kildare in the penultimate over at The Mardyke, chasing 155 - Muzamil Sherzad hitting 67 for the visitors.

Three wickets apiece for the Stanton brothers restricted Rush to 188 at Anglesea Road, depite the best efforts of New Zealander Llew Johnson who has hit the ground running on his arrival.

He top-scored with 91, hitting 8 fours and 4 sixes, and Jarred Barnes chipped in with a late 39.

Barnes took three wickets in the Merrion chase but John Anderson's half century was enough a they clinched the three wickets win.
