Bilal Azhar is captaining the Rathmines club and he will have a few new faces at his disposal for the upcoming campaign.

The club have lost just one from their senior ranks with Dev Ranolia heading off to pastures new.

Chris Janick is back, and Ben Mitchell is joining, who looks a real prospect.

"We have signed Ben Mitchell, a young Australian all rounder," said Jarryd Chetty. "He will add depth in our batting and bowling departments. Exciting prospect for the club this year.

"We have a young and exciting squad again this year. The lads have been working hard since our pre-season starting back in February.

"We are looking forward to Bilal Azhar as captain this year. He is a long serving member of the club and is well respected amongst the lads.

"We have a much more balanced team this year so expecting some good results and a few upsets along the way.

"Gareth Delany’s experience will be invaluable this season, and he will play a major role in the success of the team."
