Nambia regained top place in the ongoing Africa qualifier for next year's men's T20 World Cup yesterday at the Wanderers Club in Windhoek.

Put into bat after losing the toss, Uganda found the going tough against the Namibian bowling attack. Their top score was Ronak Patel's 19 as they were bowled out for 114. David Wiese was the pick of Nambia's bowlers, taking 4-17.

Nambia lost four wickets in reply - three of them to Alpesh Ramjani - but chased doen their target comfortably with three overs to spare. Captain Gerhard Erasmus top scored with an unbeaten 35.

Earlier in the day, the game between Nigeria and Rwanda was rained off after Nigeria had scored 33-2 from six overs.

Play remains at the Wanderers today with Kenya playing Tanzania in the morning and hosts Namibia taking on Rwanda in the afternoon.
