Gibraltar have swept Serbia in a two match T20I series played today at the Europa Sports Complex, the second of three quickfire series Gibraltar are hosting to round out their international summer.

Put into bat in the first game, Serbia scored 107-5 from their 20 overs with captain Simo Ivetic dominating the run scoring with an unbeaten 63. Gibraltar captain Avinash Pai top scored in their reply with 36 and shared in an opening partnership of 74 with Louis Bruce who scored 30. They chased down their target in 14.1 overs and won by seven wickets.

Serbia batted first again in the second game, this time after they won the toss. Only two batters reached double figures as they were bowled out for 82, Andrew Reyes taking 3-10. Kenroy Nestor was the top scorer for the home team this time, scoring 32 from 19 balls as his team completed a seven wicket win with six overs to spare.

Gibraltar will be back in action a week on Sunday when they host Luxembourg for two more T20Is.
