Guernsey women played their first T20Is against a team other than Jersey this weekend with a four match tour of Austria.

In the opening match on Sunday morning, they restricted Austria to 84-5 before chasing their target in 16.4 overs to win by five wickets, Rosie Davis top scoring with an unbeaten 31.

The visitors batted first in the second game that afternoon, scoring 122-7 from their 20 overs with Hannah Eulenkamp and Krista De La Mare both scoring 23. Austria batted out their overs in reply with Priya Sabu scoring an unbeaten 41, but fell 8 runs short of the Guernsey total on 114-4.

Sabu was in the runs again for the third match, played on Monday morning, top scoring with 45 in Austria's total of 114-8. They then restricted Guernsey to 99-9, winning by 15 runs.

In the final game that afternoon, Guernsey batted first and scored 121-3 with Rebecca Hubbard's 33 their top score. Claire Jennings then took 3-19 as Austria were bowled out for 93, Guernsey winning by 28 runs and securing a 3-1 series win.
