This time last week, the highest total Nepal had successfully chased in an ODI was 254. They've now successfully chased over 270 three times and are continuing a last minute chase of a top three position in CWC League 2.

Nepal won the toss and chose to field first. Zane Green top scored for the Namibians with an unbeaten 75, his highest ODI score, with Lo-handre Louwrens (41) and Pikky Ya France (49) also contributing.

Sandeep Lamichhane was the pick of the Nepali bowlers with 3-46 as the visitors scored 274-6 from their 50 overs.

Nepal lost Kushal Bhurtel early in their innings but a 139 run partnership for the second wicket between Aasif Sheikh and Gyanendra Malla soon got the innings back on track before Malla was out for 65.

Sheikh went on to score 81 before he was out whilst Kushal Malla and Rohit Paudel put on 92 for the fourth wicket with Kushal Malla scoring 62 from 49 balls. Nepal lost a few wickets late in their chase but had got into a position where even they couldn't mess things up and completed a three wicket win with 2.3 overs to spare.

Namibia play Scotland in their next game on Monday before the tri-series concludes on Tuesday when Nepal take on the Scots.
