Another win in Namibia has helped the USA in their bid to secure a top three position in CWC League 2 and confirm a place in the World Cup Qualifier.

USA captain Monank Patel won the toss and put Papua New Guinea in to bat. Assad Vala's 29 was their top score as they were bowled out for 149, with four USA bowlers taking two wickets each.

The chase was a reasonably straightforward affair for the Americans. Steven Taylor led the way early on with 42, whilst skipper Patel top scored with 50 before he was bowled by Semo Kamea.

The run chase was completed with 19.3 overs to spare. PNG will next be in action tomorrow against Namibia, whilst USA next play on Friday, against PNG.
