Netherlands Head Coach Ryan Campbell is in intensive care following a heart attack in England at the weekend.

The 50 year-old is a former Australian and Hong Kong international, who has been at the helm of Dutch cricket for five years.

"The KNCB, Board, staff, players and the Netherlands cricket community are in absolute shock following the news of the heart attack Ryan suffered while on a family holiday in the UK," said the KNCB in a statement. 

"On behalf of the KNCB, we would like to pass on our heartfelt thought to Ryan, Leontina, and family and hope Ryan makes a full and speedy recovery.

"Ryan is the coach of the Dutch National Cricket Team, a position he has held since early 2017."
